3bet pre all day against that kind of guy

Re: nit on nit violence, pt 2
I could see raising the flop, but it's a set too often to do so, calling is fine. We fold the turn because our hand is basically faceup if we smoothcall. Once he bets the turn $130 his range starts to have less and less 99 etc.

Re: nit on nit violence, pt 2
ok, I guess the original post was quite boring/straight forward, lets change it slightly..
you open the BN for 21, SB and BB call. SB is 25/20 same hole cards, same flop, same action (BB folds) do you take the same line? if not how does it change on the flop and turn? |

Re: nit on nit violence, pt 2
why is raising the flop so bad in position, given sb leads, he could also have some sort of draw/99/TT?
please explain your reasoning |

Re: nit on nit violence, pt 2

Re: nit on nit violence, pt 2

Re: nit on nit violence, pt 2
Checking flop is fine, but raising is totally not bad at all.. you should've asked for 'nits' not to reply with advice ;-)
Ask yourself, if he's got a set, will he want to get it all in on the flop with just 1 other player left in the hand? You got position too. He would've just called and fired another barrel or CC'ed/CR'ed on the turn. Given a scare card he might've CF'ed the turn even. |
