So this friday I'll be taking a road trip with my family to the Grand Canyon in Arizona. Having never been out of the midwest, I really don't know what to expect.
Can people give some suggestions on what to see/where to go? We plan on stopping in Colorado to camp for at least a day. Other than that we haven't even planned anything yet. BTW, we plan on being gone for two weeks. Any help is appreciated. Thanks in advance |

You're almost there by this point, but I'd recommend Bryce Canyon and Zion National Park in Utah.

[/ QUOTE ] excellent advice...bryce canyon is more beautiful and intimate than the grand canyon...grand canyon is just sooooooooooo huge, tough to hike, and sometimes cold and rainy...although it is as beautiful as a painted picture...surreal experience |

Does family include little kids? I was going to suggest a really cool bar in Colorado Springs.
