I'm back on a winning streak as well. I guess pokerstars heard our pleas. Let's just hope it lasts in to September. On a related note, I'm going back to school tomorrow, which means that my summer of just playing poker all day is officially over [img]/images/graemlins/frown.gif[/img]. So today I discovered my inner degenerate gambler and scared the hell out of myself.

After losing a $20, $30, and $50 SNG in a row to mostly garbage rigged hands, I was on steaming monkey tilt and see a bad playing registered for a $230 turbo game. So... AH HELL WHY NOT

A few hands in this happens:

blinds 10/20
Hero is SB with 1400
Villian is BB with 1600

SO I play another $230 to chase losses and my opponent runs like a Kenyan marathoner and I'm out $550 on the day. Yikes.

I see someone registered for a $520 SNG.

I play very well in this match, villian was very surprisingly weak-tight, and I managed to win fairly easily and get back to -$60 on the day after all that. I lose that match and I'm out 2/3rd my br on Stars and over 1/3 my total br.

Lesson learned: chasing losses is bad, but if you do, play against bad opponents.

PS: My sharkscope is very LOL now, but didn't record one of the $230 losses.

Once in awhile I look up from the bottom of the "high" section of husngs on Stars, and I think "[censored], if I play an 1100 and lose I'll just be motivated to make it all back super fast, if I win I'm up 10 buyins."

Haven't done that yet.

P.S. So storms didn't stop and I decided to record a video. I register into a 6 and first hand comes I lose power. I get it back up and running, get back in and the game is 2 minutes and 45 seconds long. Power flickers again, I stop recording and call it a night. What a waste of a day.

i tried nl cg the bit till a short time and was wondering how much ptbb/100 are possible in the longrun at nl100 and nl200 with a bit tableselection (playing vs. the most villians but not vs. the very strong ones)
i heard somethink like 10 ptbb is possible so what do you think?

i guess the bad streak at cards is truly over. +1K yesterday and +900 today....I'm back fellas, I'm back...but oh what a [censored] horrific week i've had...so so bad.
Those swings sure do make a man out of you if you got the balls to suck it up and stand up to them.
