Possible to lose/gain 15% of body weight in 60 days.
I made a very high stake bet with my friend about dieting. i am a very underweight person with a very slim body. he is a rather large big guy that is slightly overweight and obesse. The wager was that we gave each other 60 days to go on our own diets
my goal is to gain 15% of my body weight which is 20 pounds and he has to lose 15% of his body weight which is 40 pounds. we can do it either way we can weather it be fat or muscle we gain or lose. i just wanted to get everybodies thoughts on what they think of this and how hard it will be or if at all possible. strategies would also be a plus for me if you have any. i have been stuffing myself with high calorie meals all day and feel like im goin to explode right now. also let me know how you feel whos challenge will be harder. i have a feeling that most of you will say losing will be alot harder but keep in mind i have alot of trouble gaining wait in the past and if i reach my goal i will way about 140 when i have never wayed more than 130 my entire life. Also keep in mind that a thousand goes to the winner. |

If you can't gain 20 pounds in 2 months, you are seriously doing something wrong. That should be really, REALLY easy.

There is no way I could have done it when I was under 21.

Re: Possible to lose/gain 15% of body weight in 60 days.
Keep in mind that its 15% of my body weight that I have to gain and me gaining weight is like losing weight to other people. It is very easy for me to lose it but very hard to gain it.

Re: Possible to lose/gain 15% of body weight in 60 days.
One other note to comment on: I usually workout 4-5 days a week on just building strength. Should i stop these workouts for lose of burning to many calories and losing weight or should i stick to it in hope of building more muschle which in hand weighs more than fat?

Don't work out. Ever. Eat McDonalds and Taco Bell every day.

I gotta say it...
22 posts in just under 3 years and THIS was the best you could come up with? Redeem yourself: 1) High stakes? Please to be elaborating. 2) Post a pic of yourself. We need before and after if we're going to get max entertainment out of this thread. 3) You say you weigh about 130-135 pounds right now. If you can't put on 20 pounds in 2 months of eating like garbage and not working out, you might want to talk to a doctor. FWIW, if you're somehow serious about this, Kyle and Thremp are right. Make sure to see a cardiologist when you're done with this if you go that route though. |
