PokerStars stopped accepting deposits and cashouts from US players via eChecks as of the evening of January 17th, 2007. [/ QUOTE ] Crushin -- did you say somewhere that this is changing or was that still just for non-US players? I hate ePassporte with a passion. |

Re: * * * * AUGUST LOW CONTENT THREAD * * * *
I dunno wtf the deal is exactly. I loaded PStars for the first time in a long time (hadn't deposited since like last November and withdrew the last of my money sometime this spring or so) and when I went to deposit I just clicked the eChecks option.
Then a thing popped up and said "hey, [censored] those uigeagea mother[censored] and bill frist, we're going to reopen echecks to US peeps, and since you've already used it in the past, go ahead and use it now!" Well... something along those lines anyway. So I did. And the check just cleared my bank. Weeeeeeeee! I should be able to see the scanned version of the check fairly shortly (like a day or so). |

I think I am addicted to PLO which is killing me money wise b/c I am beating 2/4 NL for a decent clip but can't even beat .5/1 PLO, probably cause of [censored] like this.

Re: * * * * AUGUST LOW CONTENT THREAD * * * *
yo, i'm a 3/6-5/10 NL player but i'm looking to dabble in PLO a little. don't really have a good idea how to play and haven't really had any remotely formal learning, but trying to pick up the game on my own using some of my NL experience + bits of snippets from here and there.
my stats so far are about: 28.66/19.21/2.56. my vpip from the sb is 53.59. these stats solid? too tight? too loose? 10-tabling 1/2 PLO on stars fwiw also, any cheap competent coaches who can get me started? just someone who can beat 2/4 PLO+, i'm pretty confident i can crush 1/2 PLO with ease since everyone here is [censored] terrible, but i really have no idea how to play against a competent player who is capable of bluffing and all that good stuff. thx |

@ipokeder
I started playing PLO a few weeks before. I am a winning NL400 player so far. I don't think you need much coaching to beat PLO200 but you should try to play only 4 tables. so you can keep your concentration on your A-Game. 10-tabling PLO isn't the way to get better imo. But I think you know that. Your VPIP is very tight (pretty clear when yo're 10-tabling) - you can open up your range to about 30-40 (for 6max) as far as I read in a post here in this forum. Mine is about 40 (maybe a little to loose). But the money you make in PLO is with your Postflop Play. |
