Best casino closest to northern New York?
I'll be going away to college at Plattsburgh State University up north near the boarder, and I was wondering what the best casinos would be for poker? Turning stone? I've never been to one before.

Yes, T-Stone has a good poker room. About 30 tables, usually not much of a wait.
Don't go to Akwasasne...I hear it's pretty dead. |

Re: Best casino closest to northern New York?
Akwesasne is closer to Plattsburgh but there's usually only 2-3 tables going at a time. you should try it at least once since it's only 90 minutes away vs. (at least) 4 hours to Verona.
unfortunately, I don't think there's any casino poker in Quebec. and jetblue hasn't opened their Burlington-Las Vegas route yet... |

Good news about Quebec poker. They finally legalized it. It is supposed to kick off in the fall some time.

There's a casino right in Montreal, so this will definitely be your closest option (~70 mins drive, plus border crossing) once it's in operation.
