Like I said on MSN, i think that the river bet has little to no value vs worse hands (except maybe JT), except for inducing a bluff (which is a good thing if we call, as we should). As a result, I think that c/c the river might be better, as we have no idea if he's tricky enough to bluff raise the river, while we know that a lot of villains will happily bluff the riuver. Reason for this is that if you check the river, your range is pretty wide. If you lead the river, your range is almost entirely jacks (and the odd time a boat/king) [/ QUOTE ] I agree. Betting the river seems to be too thin. The check/call will also induce bluffs. Bluff-raising at 2/4, IMO is not that prevalent. |
