price on the tickets doesn't matter at all when he wasn't paying face-value for them in the first place off of e-bay. [/ QUOTE ] Right, except when the guys look at the price and then say, "$75 was really the best you could do for $30 seats?" What's he do then? |

Re: Weekly Edition of \"Is this guy a douchebag?\"
He is indeed a bit of a wanker.
When you sell tickets at a vastly inflated price, you do so knowing that you yourself are an evil corporation, almost a con man, you get a little buzz at fleecing the helpless/unwary, you are a douche, but it's ok because usually you don't know the people you're dealing with and so don't really care what they think about you. Therefore being an evil corporation/conman and fleecing his friends definitely makes him a 'not ok' douche, even more so as he probably got a little buzz from his $180 profit. |

Boot,
Wow I had to re-read it again but your boy is a total clown, wouldn't Pepe see the face value on the tickets? Maybe realize they overpaid. Still total D bag |

Douche.
Is it unthinkable that Pepe and Carlos might eventually discuss the seating? Is Pepe a big enough baseball fish that he is unaware that his nosebleeds would be significantly less than Carlos' actual $75 seat? |

Where does it say that he paid $30 for these seats on Ebay? The tickets themselves might say $10 for all anybody knows. |

Is Pepe a big enough baseball fish that he is unaware that his nosebleeds would be significantly less than Carlos' actual $75 seat? [/ QUOTE ] He's never been to a baseball game before. He heard that his friend paid $75 for his game. It's not unreasonable for him to think that's pretty typical especially when he has seats to Yanks/Red Sox. Thinking about this some more, I think the fact that they immediately doled out $75 upon presentation of the tickets implies that the favor is supposed to be more along the lines of, "get us the best seats you can get for $75." That's clearly what they were thinking and what they wanted. A non-douche might even go to them and say, "okay, I found some pretty decent seats for you guys for $30 each. The game would be pretty good from there. Do you want these or do you really want me to try to find something a little bit better that costs $75-ish." |

Re: Weekly Edition of \"Is this guy a douchebag?\"
I went to the yanks Orioles game this year tickets were 24$ behind home plate all the way up. Bleachers have to be cheaper. 75$ for bleachers is a clear rip off.
