Re: QQ in 3bpot 50nl
[ QUOTE ]
thanks for the replies so far [ QUOTE ] What plan do you have when calling the flop? [/ QUOTE ] fold if he fires again. check behind if he checks... not sure if i should bet if he checks though. I think people usually play straight forward in 3bpots without history (me included). if he has aa/kk/set i expect him to fire again. If he has AK or somehtign else he was 3betting with i expect him to give up on the turn. maybe im being hopefull/naive, but i think its an ok assumption... obviously interested in others opinions though! [/ QUOTE ] I think you've got it exactly right. Checking behind seems best on the turn if he checks. |

Re: QQ in 3bpot 50nl
ama,
yeah, you're wrong here, raising this flop is real bad. I think I actually like a flop fold given how bad this flop is for our hand |

Re: QQ in 3bpot 50nl
You guys don't think we have enough equity to call the turn? We're getting 2.6:1 so we need about 28% equity to call. We have 26% against TT+/AKs. We do need to know that he'll never bluff the river but that seems a pretty solid assumption, no?

[/ QUOTE ] We're operating under the assumption that when he bets the turn he is very unlikely to have AK. So we should be calculating our equity versus a range that's very heavily weighted toward TT/JJ/KK/AA and just a little AK. At least that's the way I approach it. |

Re: QQ in 3bpot 50nl
Yeah I don't really know how to settle on what percentage would be appropriate to plug into pokerstove. I guess I would think it would be lower than your original estimate, but I don't know by how much. I kinda think this kind of player basically never has AK after the turn bet, but maybe I'm making a bad assumption.
