5/10 AA - Facing river shove on Ugly board vs a 60/40
Opponent is running at 62/40 over 21 hands so I'm not sure what to read into that. Overall he has been pretty aggro since hes been at the table. He doubled up about 10 hands ago with AA.
Relevant stack sizes: HERO $1200 Villian $2283 Folded to villain in CO who raises to $40 Hero BB re-raises to $130 with A [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] A [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] FLOP 8 [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] 6 [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] K [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] Hero bets $188 Villain calls TURN Q [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] HERO checks Villian bets $ 272 HERO calls (should i be raising here? or letting him fire away?) RIVER J [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] HERO checks Villian Shoves (has us covered) HERO ?????? $614 to call pot is $1809 Is this a spot where we call and hope he is bluffing, or against such an aggressive opponent do we just give him credit. Also any other comments appreciated. I realise that the flop bet was prob a little small |

Smells like QQ. There isn't much we beat at the river, but I probably call anyways and put out a prayer that they have AK.

Re: 5/10 AA - Facing river shove on Ugly board vs a 60/40
I would not be comfortable calling the river so I fold.
His turn bet is questionable but I think its a weak lead looking for somebody to bite at more than its a retarted bluff betsize. |

Against a superloose aggro player I think I prefer checkraising all in on the turn, without being too happy about it.
I think you can fold river, he might have AK but its not to likely since you have two aces, and everything else beats you. Even longshots hands you could hope for on the turn like like KJ, JJ and spades got there. |

Brian [/ QUOTE ] Yeah I agree, spoke to SEABEAST tonight and he seems to think that the key to the hand is that the PFR is a too small. And because of this the pot is not big enough on the turn to CRAI, which makes the hand overly complicated to play. |

Re: 5/10 AA - Facing river shove on Ugly board vs a 60/40
I donīt like a cr ai on this turn because if he checks behind he doesnīt call our Riverbet often.
He has a good madehand ( AK+) or a hand we donīt see any value if we check but we give free outs. I donīt think that villain will (bluff-)bet with a hand like TT so i bet the turn. |
