[ QUOTE ]
Also, if its true that when we shove and get called its gonna be by a hand > JJ, that makes our opponents calling range very very narrow and hes folding out all but the top say 5% of his hands. If thats the case then the fact we have JJ doesn't really matter and it would make sense to make this play with a much much weaker hand ie 67s. [/ QUOTE ] Yes, you can do a squeeze play with weak hands. There is a lot of useful information and discussion about squeezes/resteals on this forum. They generally require reads of your opponents, which for whatever reason, you didn't supply us for the relevant players. Also, maybe it's just me, but with the "saw flop|saw showdown" thing in the hand history, it makes it obvious that you jammed and got called by MP3. Next time just have the converter not include that. |

When in doubt, just shrug your shoulders... mummble "I dunno" into your hand, put your hand to your ear waiting for it to talk back to you... and then shove all your chips in the middle.

I hate shoving here. It basically turns your hand face up. [/ QUOTE ] No offense but if you think a shove from the hero's shoes defines his range as JJ only then you are pretty much the worst hand reader of all time. How does shoving look more like JJ than AK? or KQs? or 77? Shoving looks like a squeeze and JJ is actually at the top of that range. In no way does shoving define heros hand. This is just wrong. Oh, and the guy who said raise/fold. No. Don't do that either. |

Shove ... you'll get called by 77 in this spot ... there are only 3 hands you don't want to see here and the stacks are awkward

Re: omg JJ ;lkadsjf;alsdkfj:LDSKFJ:LDSKF
I don't like a shove here. I'm with Tackleberry ... I would raise 3-4k and call any shove or shove any flop if just called. A raise may induce a shove by a worse hand that would have folded to a shove by hero.
It just seems a bit too much to shove. I remember sheets saying in one pxf video: "If a shove is more than 10 times the raise amount, there is usually a better play available" |

Say we make it 3000 out of the BB and get shoved on - we call and thats fine. However what if one of the players flat calls. We're now OOP with JJ with a single PSB left in our stack. Isn't this terrible? |
