Final Pot: t730 Checked river thinking he was on a draw and if I got called there was a chance I was behind. Looking back I think that was bad. How often am I going to get paid off on the river here with hands that I'm beating? JT, QJ, J9, etc paying me off here, right? Bad move? Should I value bet or overbet for value here? |

Re: KJo 6-max UTG raise.
I think this is a good spot to value bet. From the BB, hands like QJ/JT and maybe even T9/98 are paying off a small river bet.
I think overbetting will only get better hands to call and worse hands to fold, but you might be able to pick up a few more chips from a hand you beat with a bet in the 300ish range. |

Re: KJo 6-max UTG raise.
definitely bet the river, like 400. smaller jacks, strong 9's, and sometimes stuff like 88 and 77 are all calling.
Also, since he checked the river he probably isn't slowplaying a set or something since most low limit players don't try to cr rivers. |
