Re: Am I ever ahead here?
I'd call this and reeavaluate the turn. You're in position so see if he bets out again, it might be a feeler reraise from him with a small ace.

Re: Am I ever ahead here?
Push. We are ahead of villian's rang here...probably does this w/ most Ax hands, 87, and a good bit of draws.
edit: forgot to add sets but still ahead here enough to make a push +EV IMO |

Re: Am I ever ahead here?
are you guys serious? maybe be i´m a retardnit but pushing here seems really bad. villain all in calling range here has us crushed b/c he´ll never call a push with Ax. I´m calling an reevaluating the the turn.

Re: Am I ever ahead here?
maybe 10NL has change since i use to play but i use to get called by Ax almost aways here...but i dont mind callin and re-eval but that lets him draw and also from what my 10NL experience ppl stack off w/ draws. Maybe i dont give enough credit???

Re: Am I ever ahead here?
yeah, i'd have to say a push is really bad. you've shown plenty strength, betting p/f and flop unless he's a total donk he's not going to overplay Ax, i think his most likely holdings are a7,a8,78,77,88... all of which are in his range considering these guys will call ace/anything p/f...
i don't think any of these guys are clever enough to semibluff raise 56 or 9T, and even if they were, its a damn stupid move, considering the strength you've shown, he could easily fear a 3bet. i mean maybe 5d6d or 9dTd, but its more likely he'd call and try to hit. besides, if he would raise 5d6d or 9dTd here you still are an underdog 44%/56% and you're only getting like 2.5 to 1 on your money probably peel to try and hit a Q, or just fold. |

He might even check the river through if we call the turn bet. |

Re: Am I ever ahead here?
what strength? he raised and cbet. That could be anything OP raises with. I've never played 10NL, but at 25NL-100NL This is the standard line of aggressive donks with Ax.
The conversation that is a hand looks like this: OP: I have a hand V: I have two pretty cards (flop) V: nada OP: I have the same hand I raised with V: ha! actually I hit that Ace, lol! so how should OP respond? I think he should go- OP: golly, an ace? how come those always come when I have KK? maybe I can push you off the pot?.... or- OP: I just can't fold my KK, You might have middle pair. let's peel one off. |
