Fairway woods, are called fairway metals also now? ie, my "5 wood" as I call it, can be aka "5 metal", right? its not the same as a 5 iron? |

Any 2/3//4/5/6/7/8/9 "wood", can also be called a "metal". Either way is fine, although there are some people who hate the term metal. I'm convinced even they don't do it in day to day life. If one of my friends said it I'd be pretty shocked. |
