Re: WSOP Pay Per View
On FIOS its listed in 2 hour blocks and when you buy it gives you the option to record. So I assume it will adjust itself when it actually airs. It [censored] better bc I'll be at work for the first 2 hours.

[/ QUOTE ] I have FIOS too and saw the same thing, but then I went to 'DVR' 'add recording' and found the full final table show listed ("Pay-per-View Programs', the ESPNPPV channel (702 for me) starting tomorrow at 3pm Eastern). I purchased it from there and if all goes well will be recording it from the start. |

Worth noting from http://broadband.espn.go.com/ppv/poker :
[ QUOTE ] Event subject to change. Event purchase price non-refundable. Event distribution may be subject to slight time delay. In the event of run-over beyond the allocated distribution window, conclusion of the Event may be viewable only via other media (e.g. internet). [/ QUOTE ] |

Even if that happened (which it never has, to my knowledge), I don't know if it would switch or not. |

How do I buy this? I have Time Warner Digital Cable, where do I look for this? I have never bought anything on my TV [/ QUOTE ] PPV channel ESPN1, which is channel 331 on my TWDC. Scroll the menu guide to that time/channel, hit select, hit buy, and you're in. |

Looks like Canadians are screwed. This is an email from Viewer's Choice: Dear Ryan, Thank you for your email. Here at Viewer's Choice Canada, it is always a pleasure to hear from our subscribers and to address any questions you may have. Poker events have always proven to be popular with our viewers. Unfortunately, however, we were not able to obtain the broadcast rights for this year's event. [/ QUOTE ] The event is available in Canada on Bell ExpressVu, just like last year. Ch. 401. |
