I was told if you win multiple entries you could be paid cash, true or not true?

[/ QUOTE ]

That's not what I was told. There is a regular named Ray who's won at least 5 of them and he told me he was just selling them to high limit players. I don't know any high limit players other than Howard Beale and he's such a nit he doesn't play tournies

[/ QUOTE ]

LOL. Howard and I once had a conversation about how bad be both are at tournaments.

So what did you guys tip after you won your seat? I tipped $30. I actually asked the dealer when there were 5 left what he would want and he said $30.

Hmm, I didn't even think about trying to satellite into this thing. Only satellites I've played at a casino were at the Bike during the Legends of Poker last year and I ended up donking off some cash during those. Oh well, too late for me, I already bought my seat for this one.

I wish I had asked. My satellite went two hours (partly because of problems with the shuffler, but mainly because of people folding). So I'm thinking I should tip $50 ($25 per hour). But after I won I was in a hurry to leave, but only had $100s in my wallet, and it didn't occur to me to go to the cage and get change so I just gave her $100. The floor saw this and I had to tip him $25 so I didn't look like a tool.

The dealer was very grateful, esp. because she felt really bad she had flipped up an ace to me on this hand. Seven left, I'm chip leader. Agro guy raises my SB in an excessively large raise. I see that I've got A8s, so I push all in thinking he's on a steal. He instacalls with KK. I'm table short stack. He asks if she dealt me the 8 as a replacement and I tell him yes so he won't realize how aggressive I'm getting. I tell him I just flipped out that I lost my rockets and pushed.

I've got 3BB left. I push the next three hands, no one calls.

In reality I'm pretty sure she replaced the ace with another ace. I probably wouldn't have pushed with A8o though. I'm not that crazy. Or am I

I just won my seat. I'm not a tournament player so I don't know much about tipping in these things and I only gave her a ten. I feel like a cheap ass now.

If I win this thing I'm quitting my job and playing for a living. How's that for a plan?

Congrats! I'll never win a seat. I'm being left behind in the dust........

Wait until you play in that tourney. If it's anything like the regular night tourneys you'll raise w/ AA and get beat by 9-4o just like happened to 'somebody' I know who tried one a couple of weeks ago.

I tried to make a deal with the guy I played heads up but it was a no go. My deal was to give 2nd place their entry fee back. He thought about it for a while and then said no. When I had a 4 to 1 chip lead, he says, how bout that deal. LOL no thanks. I believe he was kidding though.... I hope so anyway.

4 to 1 and he only wants 1/10th? I woulda gave him that in a heartbeat. It only takes one hand of him doubling up before he's a threat, two hands for him to take the lead.
