100NL Weird line from villain
no reads in this player and no history between us, pretty early in the session.
His stats turned out to be 11/8/2.60 over 99 hands but I didnt have those avaliable when this hand occured so tips on all streets vs both a complete unknown and a guy with those stats are welcome 6 handed Villain ($190) is UTG and raises to $4 2 fold Hero ($123) is on the button with T[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] T[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] and 3bets to $12 I suppose cold calling is perfectly fine here OTB vs an UTG raiser? SB folds BB folds Villain calls $8 Flop: ($25.50) 4[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] 3[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] 4[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] Villain bets $18 Hero |

Re: 100NL Weird line from villain
coldcalling is better vs. such a nit utg; you dont wanna get reraised here.
as played villians donk really looks strange, like he wants to induce a raise. i'd just call here and fold to reasonable turn bet. If he checks turn, check behind. edit: assuming villian is unknown, coldcalling or raising are both fine pf in both cases i just call a c-bet/donk |

You are beat or flipping.
I would just call pf |

I'm not sure why your 3betting pf, ugh as played I'd probably float flop and fold to a turn bet ui

[ QUOTE ]
You are beat or flipping. I would just call pf [/ QUOTE ] How are we ever flipping? I would raise if we didn't have showdown value but think we are ahead here most of the time verus an unknown. This is dependant on the site and game flow but flop donks are weak sauce in my games. Often a medium strength hand trying to bet/fold. |

Re: 100NL Weird line from villain
yeah agree with posts so far, cold call PF, as played call flop, see what happens on turn. if its a heart and he bets prob fold, looks like big heart draw or QQ/JJ. I think you get to showdown fairly cheaply vs QQ/JJ if hes nitty and you can call/fold depending on if big heart draw hits.
Edit - Oh yeah, even if you have no stats on him id prob call PF with TT otb. fishy |
