3/6..9handed, thoughts on blind and button play
I have recently got PT, 12k hands at 3/6. .75/100bb.(was around 2.2/100,4 tables while drinking heavily doesnt help stats).I am aware of some spots that im leaking and working on them. I need help with play out of the blinds and on the buttom. I really tend to not get involved from the blinds without a real hand.is a 4k loss out of the blinds the price i need to pay to play the other positions? Does anyone have guidlines for call/reraise when the pot is to be 2 or 3 handed? Is blind stealing the key to easing the cost of the blinds? any books that address these spots in detail? I only play 9 handed and wouldnt dream of playing 6 handed until these issues are resolved.

Re: 3/6..9handed, thoughts on blind and button play
read "Winning in Tough Hold `em Games" by Stoxtrader and Zobags, this book does a good job addressing blind play and many other shorthanded concepts. Also, your win rate means little unless you have a large sample (>50k hands).
The small stakes short handed forum is also a good source for information. |
