just interested, if someone bet 1k 1:1 w/ u when would you say the tournament must be started by before u lose?

we could negotiate. my purpose is to bet on whether it will start in the near future. like as the results of my efforts going on now. so obviously not in a few months or whatever. but like if it starts within a month or something. gotta give me some time to work out logistics, etc. and, as of now i only have 3 people who have agreed to play and i need 5 more....

Talk to Ansky. My efforts are just piggy-backing on his. I didn't pick the timing.

But since no one looks interested in prop betting, I think it's safe to say that I have solid commitments from Gift of Gab, Durr, and Danny A. I also have probable/possible commitments from Stinger, TheMightyZep, Barry Greenstein, and a few other people. So it looks like it will go, assuming I can work out payment. But both FTP and PokerStars are looking like possibilities as of this moment.
