Anyone who says this is not even close is a retard, your faced with a decision where you have at best 50% equity and your telling me that the decision to call off your chips is not even close? [censored] fish.. [/ QUOTE ] Lots of spots where you have at best 50% equity and are calling off your chips are no-brainer calls. This spot is not one of them, since: a)you don't have 50% equity at best--you could be quite a bit better or somewhat worse, and b)you're getting 3:2, which is not a huge price given that you aren't sure where you stand. However, it's fairly clear that your equity is greater than the 40% required to break even, so this actually isn't very close at all. |

Cero,
We are getting 1.5 / 1 and we are 2/1 to draw out our Flush and you think this is a good call? (I think Ace Jack, sounds like he'd have raised Q's or 10's.) KE |

KE [/ QUOTE ] LOL we're 1.8:1 to hit a flush, and we do not need to hit a flush to win a substantial amount of the time. This is not always trip Jacks and some of you seem to not realize that. |

SNAP call if we're last to act, beat him into the pot, i thin kyou find a smaller flush draw more than anything, honestly.
with people left to act, i tend to think you can toss a coin w./o a physical read on them |

fold. might be a +EV call but extremely high variance. [/ QUOTE ] winning players at these stakes tend not to shy away from high variance plays. the nature of high stakes is that your edge is very small over these players, so everything is going to be high variance. |
