10/20 Flopped Set OOP in 3bet Pot Bad Turn
I was playing on a site that the HH converters don't like so you'll have to just read what happened, sorry.
4 handed with one fish(loose-passive, 45/12 over 600 hands or so now) with around 4k, I cover. He raises UTG to 80, everyone folds and I 3bet with QQ to 380(this raise size ok considering stacks?) he calls. Flop KQTr I bet 600 into an 800 and he calls. His call could mean a King, Queen or Ten or Jack... and maybe just an ace. Turn J(Pot $2000, we both have around 3k behind) Hero ??? |

you could bet/fold or check/call

Re: 10/20 Flopped Set OOP in 3bet Pot Bad Turn
Sorry I'd rather not give the name of the site away because it is my little fish heaven.
I hate bet/folding because if I bet $1500 and villain shoves, it will be $1500 more to call into an $8000 and I'm 3/1 to boat up. I hate check/calling because I'll be forced to call almost any river bet because of the pot size. I hate check/folding because I have a set against a fish who doesn't have to have an ace when I can improve. |

Fish will probably give you odds to draw to your boat, check it to him and see if he does.

You're absolutely correct beserk. I checked, fish min-bet, ten popped off on the river, I shoved and he instacalled with A9
