Default Too many SNG choices on PokerStars...

Anyone think there are too many versions and dollar levels for SNG games on Stars?

I remember playing 100 dollar 10 person SNGs on Party and they would fill in less than 3 minutes pretty much 24 by 7.

I think that was because we had fewer choices and therefore were not spread across such a broad spectrum of games. I see games at the 55+5 level that seem to never fill up.

Too many choices -- what do you think?

I think the choice for that level of play is the ring games, as shown by how many low-mid nl games run at all hours. By the time the player works up to a roll to play $55 SNGs, they realize how much more money there is on an hourly rate in the ring.

Not to mention the fact that much higher ROI's used to be attainable on the higher level games. Now, it's so much more difficult and the variance is much worse.

I agree for the most part but --

I haven't played many games over 50 bucks on Stars (those days on the Party Poker circuit got smacked down) but I'm thinking higher levels of SNG's could become fairly juicy again.

I've seen a pretty big surge in European gamblers on Stars lately.

People with 100 or less games online playing like -- well -- they have 100 or less games under their belt. These are twenty and under games I'm talking about but...

Certainly the 20 dollar and under games are full of fish. Scope shows that maybe 3 out of 9 players at a table are cash positive in this range. I explored some of the 50 dollar games and found that maybe 4 of 9 are positive. That to me seems fairly ripe again.

Last year this time it was more like 6 of 9 positive -- which confused me -- how can more than half of my competition be positive -- who the hell is losing
