Re: Really weird lower stakes live hand. Still confused about it.
This is a5s a5 45s 45 56s 56 maybe 57s. He is trying to get payed off he has no clue how good you are. He thinks 70% of the boats will call an all in.

Re: Really weird lower stakes live hand. Still confused about it.
like you said, he cant have AA or KK and he probably plays TT-QQ alot slower (since he chose to flat call with so many runners). couple this with the fact that live nits are so predictable and you see quads ~100% of the time. good fold.

Re: Really weird lower stakes live hand. Still confused about it.
Good Fold. I see 5x as a real possibility given six way action preflop. I agree this is not a bluff given your description. 'Twould be a bold move for his first pot. What was your pair?
Another question: I see about 1100 in the pot pre-shove, given your description: 1600 to call with the pot at 2700, or about 10:6 (1.7:1). Odds aren't great even with a bigger pot than "700 at most," which would put odds at 10:7 (1.4:1). I agree this is not a bluff |
