Tricky QQ Spot vs. Two Opponents
Hand from last night's 55k on Stars. I had been playing uber-tight and just doubled up a few hands earlier with AQ vs AJ. Big stack on the button has 12% VPIP over 200 hands and has not been out of line, BB is pretty loose and is calling pre-flop with a lot of hands. Given my stack size can anyone come up with a line for me? If I C-Bet and get called am I giving up? Is check calling the button's inevitable bet and calling (if the BB folds) and evaluating the turn an option? Do I just plan on getting em in regardless?

Re: Tricky QQ Spot vs. Two Opponents
the pot is 10k and you have 20k, surely there is enough room to get away if you get popped. i would c-bet and be done w/ it if called unless you set up or get a really cheap price on a non-heart turn.

People don't usually call raises with kings. cbet 7K and evaluate if called or raised.

[/ QUOTE ] Agreed, probably 7K to go. I *may* try to c/r the button if he's sure to bet, that way I can look at what the BB does before I put any $$$ in (if button bets and BB stays in the hand, I'm out), but basically I'm just hoping at that point that the button doesn't have a set or K. If the button is a sure to bet or call my bet, I think I like a flop c/r all in. It will make him play perfect poker after my bet, but when I'm ahead (should be most of the time) the pot is big enough to not worry about more chips, and I get to see if the BB is trapping.
