Default Best pro without a major?

I really think this is open to debate at this point. I know Mickelson was the contender forever, but I feel like no one ever really emerged to take that title.

I am thinking Sergio Garcia, though I don't have a ton of evidence to back it up.

Just of the top of my head I thought Sergio. Others: DiMarco and Monty.

Not to be biased by the current tournament, but Adam Scott.

Has Harrington won one yet?

Edit: Fun note, "Harrington is the only player in the world to have been partnered with Tiger Woods in a tournament five or more times and to outscore him. Harrington has a 68.83 average in six rounds, compared with Woods' average score of 69.50. The rest of the world's top players averaged over 70." from Wikipedia.

I think I would go A. Scott at number 1, followed by Sergio/Luke Donald/Pad Harrington/DiMarco in some order, with Monty being in there too. Who knows if Monty will get another shot after being excruciatingly close @ Winged Foot

A. Scott

Eventually, Henrik Stensen will be on that list as well.

I assume you are talking about current likelihood of winning one, not on the career body of work.

I think Scott is the clear guy here and I would put Stenson at #2. The world rankings agree. Sergio's putting is just too weak.
