I'm hoping for some serious suggestions. I am helping out chaperoning a church group of 9th graders, during an overnight event. I was asked to pick up some videos. So, I'm looking for movies that have the following qualities:
-not so racy or violent as to be objectionable to the parents -not so boring as to be objectionable to the kids -not likely to have been seen by them already countless times Other than that, subject matter really doesn't matter. Any quick recommendations? |

Stand By Me
(technically rated R, but only some F-words, no nudity/violence, etc.) |

An overnight stay with a church group is explosively entertaining by itself, and introducing anything of this sort would blow the lid right off and things could go south quick.
Cliff's: it's fun enough already. You don't need to add more fun to church groups, as a general rule. |

Good Will Hunting. I think that's my favorite movie when i was around that age. It's quite inspiring, too.
