Re: Do I accecpt this abnormal tip?
OMG you must cash this check. Old ladies LOVE to balance their checkbook. If she dies and you cash it, no biggie. But if you screw up her account balance by not cashing her check it will haunt her until the she dies.

That reminds me of a Chinese billionaire's joke on his mistresses and wives, etc. Give them a blank check and let them decide, if it's too high it bounces... Of course he'd prearrange how much is in any particular checking account, and it was mathematically elegant. Fair was okay, greedy was not. Cash it, for not to do that would be an insult. See Kramer's advice when Jerry's nana goes missing. [/ QUOTE ] Where'd you read that story? |

Doctor the check to $500 or $5,000. This is a no-brainer. For scumbags, I mean. [/ QUOTE ] What, so now stealing money from hospitalized (possibly dead) old ladies on fixed incomes makes you a scumbag? Whatever you say Dudley DoRight. |

Also, I really like whoevers advice it was to send flowers. Yes I realize that $5 wont cover it and you have to invest some time, but thats the kinda nice [censored] the world needs more of [/ QUOTE ] Agreed. If you don't wanna take a negative tip, you should send her a card. You never know what situation she is in and how much she would appreciate something like that. She may be an old widow with no family. |
