wait...it's 10 year on income with an US source. makes it less of a scam... I don't think any poker site is located in the us so poker is not an income you get from US [/ QUOTE ] No it's worldwide income. It is a scam. |

Re: Being Homeless
[ QUOTE ]
One major issue is mail / bills / not having an address. American Express used to be awesome for this but I can't find any info about it anymore on their web site; anybody dealt with this? [/ QUOTE ] I travelled for about 7 years in the early eighties & always used the Poste Restaurante system, where you can just get your mail sent to the local central post office, along the lines of: C Bloom Post Restaurante Lima Peru Never had any problems. My mum would just put any correspondence I'd got in a big envelope & mail it there. |

Re: Being Homeless
Lololo you mean "Post Restante". Though I will probably be at a restaurante so maybe they'll deliver the mail there.
But yeah, basically your method is having your mum forward it. Any homelessness tips Holding? |

Re: Being Homeless
Hey, it was a long time ago
Times have changed; I'm not sure my experiences would be particularly relevant. If only they'd had online poker or even 'online'! I guess one thing I'd mention is, if you have cash to spare, then look for potential business oportunities. A good friend of mine met a young hard-working Philippino & backed him in a series of business ventures; as a result they both became very rich. Obviously, it would be high-risk/high reward, so it needs to be money you can afford to lose. |

Re: Being Homeless
TheMeteron gave solid advice. If I were to partition the next five weeks or five months traveling, I'd do exactly what he suggested, set up base and bounce around. It's nice not having to deal with hippies, having a proper bed, kitchen, privacy. There is something to be said for living in a city for several weeks, you'll be immersed and get a feel for the culture, etc.

Re: Being Homeless
Bump. This idea is cool as hell, imo. There's very little on the web, so if anyone could post more about it, I'd be grateful.
