Who would win HU Ivey or Gigabet? [/ QUOTE ] Depends on how many chips they each have. Ivey is a tremendous player, but I'd give a slight edge to Gigabet. BTW, has anyone else noticed the stack sizes and seating arrangement of the final 6? Gigabet has the table set up EXACTLY to his liking, with the biggest stacks on his right and and the shortest stacks on his left. If he can keep it that way until the short stacks get desperate, then my money is on him to win. |

gigabet has no edge over ivey, what gives him the edge? hes won a couple prelim events, if ivey would have had that chip lead going into day 3 he would accumulated so many chips putting pressure on people

It certainly makes it harder for Ivey to bully the table. |

FieryJustice got a bad break with the seating but thankfully he is a dominant player and can overcome his seat disadvantage.
[ QUOTE ] Table Seat Name Chip Count F 1 Richard Kirsch 810000 F 2 Jon Little 956000 F 3 Cory Carroll 1235000 F 4 Phil Ivey 1395000 F 5 Darrell Dicken 1203000 F 6 Amnon Filippi 571000 [/ QUOTE ] I have a $100 bet with gaurangp where I have Gigabet, FieryJustice, and Carroll FTW. Lets go 2p2! Edit: I am willing to take further action on that wager if anyone else thinks that Ivey > 2p2. PM me before the cards hit the air if you are interested. Edit2: sweet. Amnon Filippi raised to 70k from under the gun, Cory Carroll called on the button, and Phil Ivey called in the small blind. The flop fell KhJh10c. Ivey checked to Filippi who bet 135k. Carroll raised to 255k and Filippi moved all in. Carrol called. Amnon Filippi AcQs Cory Carroll Ah7h Filippi flopped the nuts, but Carrol only needed a h to win, or a Q to chop. The 6d fell on the turn, and the 2h sent Filippi to the rail in 6th place. |

FieryJustice definately got a bad assignment and Gigabet got a good one. However, with the shallow money under current WPT FT rules, it may not matter so much.
