.5/1NL on pokerstars. My image is nitty TAG.
UTG is a shortstacked fish with about $20 in front of him. BB appears to be a somewhat thinking TAG over a small sample(this read changed later). Me and BB have effective stacks of ~100 I have J[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]J[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] in SB. UTG limps, I raise to $5, BB calls, UTG calls. Flop: 4[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] 5[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] 5[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] I bet $11, UTG raises to $23, I ?? |

I think you posted this hand wrong. Obvious call if UTG is all in.

call flop planning crai on a safe turn...
if a Q or higher falls, i probably c/c the turn and re-evaluate on the river. this turn plan might actually suck because calling a bet here would leave us w/very little left behind on the river. i hate these spots. |

apologies the 4 was actually a [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] nobody folds to the flop raise? [/ QUOTE ] Wow, folding is as weak tight as it can be! This minreraise will be done with some kind of a draw most times. If the flush doesn't appear on the turn bet the pot there! These spots are very good opportunities to extract money from Villains that chase draws with donkish lines. |
