Re: Things that are cheaper than they should be.
[ QUOTE ]
$1 goes pretty far at a strip club. Also, camping tents. I'm going camping over Memorial day and was looking online and you can get a really good 8 person tent with like $150. I know it's just fabric and zippers and cheap plastic, but still. [/ QUOTE ] Tents have come way down in price. About 10 years ago I bought a tent and it was a bargain at $200. |

This thread is hilarious. People saying crap like "breakfast at restaurants" and "delivery pizza" can't be serious, right?

Re: Things that are cheaper than they should be.
These things are practically disposable these days. I remember when I was a kid and we had the same big ass annoying metal "lawn chairs" that we had to cart around everywhere for my entire childhood. |

Way, way underpriced to the operators. |

Re: Things that are cheaper than they should be.
Gas. Seriously.
The stuff is dug up half way around the world, refined somewhat, put into a ship, transported a few thousand miles, dropped off in Houston, refined some more, to the point where this once greasy black rock is now clearish. Then, the ship it to your part of the country, dump it into a tank in the ground, have a pump system to deliver it to your car's gas tank. All of this for less than the price of bottled water. There's more water, closer to home, requiring less refining. But gas is still cheaper. Amazing, really. And this stuff will take a 3,000 lb car up a mountain in the middle of summer, keep the passengers cooled with AC, all for a couple bucks. It should be much more expensive. hd |
