Re: The great internet players
[ QUOTE ]
[ QUOTE ] I think you are imagining things, theres nobody who has turnd 150 into 15000. At least, no winning players have. [/ QUOTE ] not true. i deposited 300 and turned it into 6000 since sunday. the thing is i have zero bankroll management. I have to imagine their are other players like me who regularly beat games but sometimes busto due to their propensity to tilt. edited because i drink and i make little sense [/ QUOTE ] lol, my first start in poker 2.5 years ago i was down to 78 cents on paradise and made it up to $15,000 in 2 weeks. Very poor bankroll management+running extremely hot. I cash out $10,000 then and obviously lost the rest cuz i didnt kno BR, this cant be done and sustained |

Re: The great internet players
I have turned a 5 dollar transfer from my older brother into over 326 dollars in less then three months, so let me tell you it can be done. I started out playing the low stakes and now i buy in half to the bigger money games like .5 1nl and 1 2nl and when i hit over 400, i am gonna play even higher stakes. but not everyone can play as good as me and some other guys here.

Re: The great internet players
OP to answer your question, it's the ability to look some one in the eye and 'read his soul' so to speak
I started off with about 7 cents 3 days ago and I'm on around 20k now. It doesn't happen overnight, but if you have the drive, competitive edge, and talent, you can't go wrong. |
