Re: [NL 50] Set against push on 3 flush + 1 card straight board
Given the 3bet preflop from this villain, he probably has an overpair maybe with a spade. A[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]K[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]. AQss not so much because looking at his stats, he doesn't like to raise. Which means he probably hates to 3bet (without a strong hand).
I think this is an overpair most of the time, often with a spade to boot. If he happens to have AKss or something like that, then you have 10 outs. Call. Btw if this wasn't a 3bet pot I'd probably get away here. But because it's a 3bet pot, his range consists mostly of overpairs. His agression factor is low, but he plays a lot of hands, so it seems lower because of that. |

Re: [NL 50] Set against push on 3 flush + 1 card straight board
I call.
I'm not sure what hands villain would play preflop like he did. Probably strong hands including all premiums. Given his stats he's a bad player so on the flop his range probably contains all overpairs and flush draws. But would he really shove a flush on the turn? A lot of players with those stats would play it much more cautiously. Much more likely holdings for villain are AsAx till 8s8x. Also I think he could very well play a 4 like that on the turn, but what kind of holdings including a 4 does villain raise preflop? |
