215$ Sunday Warm Up - QQ again
Just felt I butchered this hand pretty bad... Villain was VERY active on the table.

Final Pot: t7200 My thought was that if I checked the river villain would perhaps put me on unimproved overs and try to steal the pot... |

bet flop
betting the river will get value out of mid/low pocket pairs while they are never betting themselves |

Re: 215$ Sunday Warm Up - QQ again
Preflop looks good
Flop I'm leading 2.4kish Turn As played thats a small bet only 1/2 pot, I'd make it more like 2.4k River Value Town, Villain hasn't shown any interest in the hand other than calling a turn bet which has great odds for a flush or str8 draw. 2-3k here as he likely has air. |

Bet flop 2400. River oh my god bet bet you get no extra value out of slow played jack by checking and if he has missed FD only so many players are capable of bluffing and theres tons of smaller pockets in his range that make crying calls.

Re: 215$ Sunday Warm Up - QQ again
I think I'm leading this flop with around 2000+, normal c-bet so to speak... If he calls, I'm not sure whether I bet out on the turn again... depending on reads and on play villain has made so far. You say he's active? Floating etc.? Or just playing lots of pots? I'm possibly valuebetting turn as well...

Re: 215$ Sunday Warm Up - QQ again
i like it exactly as OP played it and I don't like betting that flop because its too easy to get you off the hand if you do. If you check, however, you control the pot size and keep villain in check.

[/ QUOTE ] Eh...you lay down QQ on this board if the very active villain reraises you on a standard flop cbet? |
