** Writing Competition: VOTE HERE! **
I will list the entries below, and each voter may pick up to 3 choices. You may pick less if you want, but any more than 3 will be ignored (that means your entire vote will be ignored!). Say the letter (A,B,C) or the titles at the top of your post that you're voting for.
Only those registered before April 07 and with more than 100 posts may vote. If the winner has any second placers within 3 votes of the winner, I will run a knockout vote for an extra day to poll anew on those entries only. (ie 100 votes for winner and 97 for second will result in a knockout, but 96 won't) You may canvass, discuss, criticise, praise etc as you like in this thread and in the general 'writing:discussion' thread, but if I detect any shenanegins elsewhere on this site or IRC, I will veto any entries as I see fit. Ask if that's not clear, and here are the entries: A. A Perfect Little Life - Carter B. Abduction/Seduction - fyodor C. Giggles and the Red-Assed Baboon - Kilgore Trout D. The Émigré - Dane S E. That Someone Should Care - thatpfunk F Vespers - Coffee G. The Hunt - idrinkcoors H. A Day in the Life: 2035 - TIEDdup14 I. Inside the Lyons' Den - Actual God J. Re: ** Writing Competition: VOTE HERE! **
This reminds me of the casino where no one wants to be the first to show. So I'll go first:
U. “…it ain’t like its La Cosa Nostra no more.” - BPA234 Q. Insufficient Funds - Loungerat B. Abduction/Seduction - fyodor (just so I don't get shut out) |

Re: ** Writing Competition: VOTE HERE! **
Can't vote (posts < 100, and I'm not going to invade a bunch of threads with useless commentary just for an extra vote), but my obligatory canvassing effort goes here:
I wrote Stasis, Numbers for two reasons - a) The Brilliant, Brilliant, Brilliant Blue turned out to be shorter than I wanted it, and b) I wanted to show that I was capable of writing something close to normal after TBBBB. Also, I am not the character in the story. Shipitcrucial. |
