Need to know more about villain, and if you're going to bet the flop you should probably bet more.

Re: Nice read or holy crap your a fish?
I think this is a 7 or small PP a lot of the time.

Sorry villain was a 78/4/1 and he will bluff air if shown weakness [/ QUOTE ] Well, if your sample size is big enough... 4% of his hands are raised. That could be 99+, AQs+ and AK. This range pretty much crushes you. I vote fish... (sorry). psw |

[/ QUOTE ] Well, it does change my confidence. But I still think you lose this pot. He's got a J w/ a bad kicker and was afraid to bet the turn? He's got pp? He could also have the busted flush draw.... but I don't think I like the call. Against fish, I just like to get a reasonable made hand (top pair) and take 'em to value town. psw |

Re: Nice read or holy crap your a fish?
yeah, i agree with others here. i'm not sure what you can beat here besides AQ. Even busted flush draw could have made a smallish pair.
if you're supremely confidant he has a weak hand and believes that he thinks he is bluffing (even if he has better hand), perhaps you could raise his river bet. but i think safer route is just to bet out river and let him fold. or if you put him on flush draw much earlier, then bet turn, and if he calls, bet out river to let him fold. |
