i think im probably calling here and calling a river bet since there's no hand that you'd cehck the flop with and bet the turn with thats good. but its very read dependent. just saying that your line is super weak and he probably picked up on this, so adjust accordingly

flop check is fine. Depends on how smart he is here. If hes dumb he doesnt realise you cant be that strong here so his cr is super strong. and if hes smart he knows you cant be that strong here and he could do this with anything

I think it really depends on how often you check a flop after reraising preflop. Also, the jack is a great card for villain to be bluffing as it becomes less likely you have one. I would call turn bet and reevaluate river since you have position.

I differ with the quote in that I like a flop CBet here unless you would play a set like this a decent percentage to vary your play. As played I think a turn check is better as your hand has some showdown value, particularly against a decent opponent who would valuebet a mid PP on the river. Your turn bet really does very little positive for you in this situation. Unless he's more agressive than his stats show - I think you call here and hope a free showdown. |
