Re: Angus 1/3lb burger for McD\'s
phill, it's very possible that overseas McD's fries suck. they def change thier food over there. I try not to eat american fast food when travelling in europe, so I can't say if they maintain greatness there, although I'll probably make an exception the next time i'm in England, as i've never been thrilled about the cuisine there anyway.
If you think that McDs fries suck, and you are eating the same as they make over here, it would explain why british food is so bad... |

[ QUOTE ] [ QUOTE ] Isn't a double quarter pounder two 1/8lb patties? [/ QUOTE ] For real? [/ QUOTE ] Wow. I have never thought of it this way. I would not be surprised at all to find out this is true. I had always assumed that "Double Quarter Pounder" meant two patties having a total weight of .5 pounds (.25 per patty). However, I certainly wouldn't be surprised if MacDonalds just meant a double burger equaling .25 pounds total (1/8 pound per patty). That would be some slick marketing. [/ QUOTE ] It is not true, but after today, everyone that I know will think it is. |
