Just wanted to update you guys, I got my money back. After doing a PAB at casino miester I got this email from Poker Time [ QUOTE ]
Hi

Thank you for your patience.

William here from the PokerTime support desk.

We have some great news for you. We have received feedback from our Player Security Company they have advised us that after investigating the account they have decided to unlock it for you!

You will be able to open the software and login to your account and start playing.

We hope that you find the above in order and that we see you at the tables flopping Aces soon!!

Thank you, for choosing to play with us.

Please do not hesitate to contact us should you have any further queries.

Kind Regards,

When I called support they said it was locked due to promotional abuse, so I don't know what that has to do with "player security" or why they had to hear back from their player security department. I actually wouldn't have been as pist off if it was some kind of security investigation, since I know I didn't break any rules and wouldn't mind the inconvenient wait to get my money back if I thought they were doing it to protect the security of the game. Promotional abuse though, which is what they said the investigation was for originally, sounds like they just wanted to take my money for no reason other than they could.

Makes me see his supposed stance as a "player advocate/watchdog" in a whole new light. Awfully nice for your advocate to have a financial stake in the other party. He seems to be more concerned with the casino getting bashed than players getting screwed.

[/ QUOTE ]

CasinoMeister is basically a fraud. He's helped a bunch of people out, but make no mistake, he looks out for his own pocket first and foremost.

Sure, he says Hastings BV is going to replace Montana Overseas to police RTG skins very soon...but that was in December. And now it's almost April with no new news.

There are infinitely more reasons why Bryan is not a real player advocate, but all you have to do to figure that out is look at the links he provides to the casinos. They have referral tags, don't they?

Easy enough.

Even the worst RTG casinos refund deposits at least if they pull one of their dirty tricks.

Slight tangent, but no they don't.

I deposited in all these casinos and lost at all except one (royal vegas) where I cashed out $1200. They seized my winnings and returned my deposit saying that my play was "erratic and strange" and not "consist with a player who will remain loyal to the casino" and was typical of a bonus abuser. I engaged with support and got nowhere.

[/ QUOTE ]

Wow, just wow. I guess I just got lucky that I never won anything at that group.

I am thinking that we should change the topic as the current one indicates there is a chance of getting $$ out of FL. At the moment they seem to be instastealing deposits.

Casinomeister talks some sense:

[ QUOTE ]
Because they are dead wrong in this matter, and they have not listened to reason. They insist that there is such thing as "bonus abuse" and I insist that there are only poorly written terms and conditions.

I feel like I am talking to a brick wall.

The casino has every right in the world to pick and choose who their customers are. But once the casino makes the offer, accepts the bet, and the player plays according to the terms and conditions meeting the wagering requirements, then the casino ought to honor the winnings. It's the casino that is responsible for making the rules. If they make mistakes by forgetting to say that making a single bet on Blackjack is not allowed, then it is allowed. It is not the responsibility of the player to try and guess what the casino considers "abuse".

(I've said this before) subjective language has no place in enforcing rules. Casinos can enforce policies by disallowing these players access to the casino, or deny bonuses in the future, but it is unacceptable to garnish winnings after the player has met the wagering requirements of the bonus.

We understand that the casino wishes to bring in new players who will remain loyal by them offering bonuses. But the bottom line is that the casino writes the terms for these bonuses, the casino should be expected to write terms that protect it from players they don't want.

I'm getting ready to go on a two week family vacation starting tomorrow, and this is the last thing that I want to be dealing with before taking off. I'm watching what was once a stellar operation pull a total roguish move that just makes your head spin.

They should have just admitted that they made a mistake, and went from there. If they didn't want anyone to play French Roulette, they should have said so to begin with.

I expect them to see the light before the next two weeks are over. It's not too late for them to come to their senses. For them to set this sort of precedence can not be tolerated. This is not good for the industry whatsoever.

A funny thing occurred to me: what if these thousands of players didn't take the bonus, deposited $50, made one bet on BJ, and immediately cashed out if they won. Would this be considered "deposit" abuse?

A player at Casinomeister is reporting he is getting paid after complaining to eCOGRA. Anyone else getting paid?

Has anybody been paid by Fortune Lounge who originally had their money stolen with the "bonus abuse" excuse?
