Re: GF wants to live together
How long distance of a relationship is this? how often did you see each other?
Because let's look at the advantages of this? - Financial is No. 1 to do this, unless you know each other inside and out (6 month long distance relationship = doesn't qualify normally). Are you moving into her place, getting a place together, etc? Overall, I think you played this wrong. There is no quick recovery, so live with the consequences of your actions. You sound like more of a woman than she does. [ QUOTE ] I'm stubborn, I have a short temper, and when I'm mad I usually don't feel like talking so I just wanted to end the conversation immediately. [/ QUOTE ] Might want to work on this a little bit |

Re: GF wants to live together
[ QUOTE ]
I actually know her from way back in college. We kinda kept in touch through email after graduation, and about a year ago she moved to Vegas. During one of my trips out there we got together and hooked up, and we've been together since then. I've had plans to move to Vegas since before we even got together, which is why I've been willing to do the long distance thing as a temporary deal until I get out there. [/ QUOTE ] so you guys have never actually dated and hung out on a nightly basis? absolutely positively do not move in with her for at least six mos - a year of doing that. |

[/ QUOTE ] I think she does have the same traits, demonstrated by the fact that she didn't try to call me back after I hung up on her. That's my biggest fear about the relationship, that any time we have a fight it will result in a standoff where neither side will want to be the first to apologize or try to talk about it. |

[/ QUOTE ] Anyone typing these words should not be living with a GF, or even considering it. You're not even remotely ready. You shouldn't be finding yourself in these situations on a regular basis. Just tell her no. |

Re: GF wants to live together
Get your own place. You've got the rest of your life to play house. Get settled first, see where the relationship is going. You both sound a bit immature still. Her "financial reasons" =you paying for things so she can spend more of her money on clothes and crap.

Re: GF wants to live together
Dude no way should you be moving in with your 6 months girlfriend. What possible good could come of this for you? One of my good friends put it best when he moved in with his girlfriend:
"I thought it was going to be a f***-a-thon, but it's really more of a 'f*** you!'-a-thon." |
