villain is 55/13/.85 over only 25 hands... haven't noticed anything out of line... we were both $50 deep..
Sorry if this is boring, I was just wondering how correct/incorrect my play is here... these marginal situations seem like a big leak of mine.. check/folding the river seemed way to weak, was I right? should turn have been played differently? I think it looks fine. If you check the turn you give him the opportunity to take the driver seat on the hand, and after calls on two streets I like the check/call on the river. I definitely agree folding there is too weak getting 4.5:1.

meh, i dont mind your line at all. pot is still nice and small for our one pair hand, have to call on the river getting awesome odds. The turn bet is questionable, but its not utterly awful, you still want to charge drawing hands. overall not bad at all methinks.

I would have played it the same.. if he spiked a Q on the river with some donkey hand not much you can do.. you're tying with JT now too which is another possible hand

I would also do the same. However, I'd fold on River if I don't get at least 2.5:1

I'm not sure betting the turn here is the best line even though I do it 100% of the time. You're against 2 players in a limped pot with a mediocre kicker, is checking really that bad?

i like the line you got not much wrong with it
running into Qx is bad luck and TJ is a hand you could be up against |

I like your play here, turn bet is a little on the low end but perfectly fine on this board (I bet 2/3-3/4 fwiw). I'm checking the turn sometimes though, about 1/3 times.
River call is fine getting these odds. With that weak a bet I would expect to see worse Tx and some unimproved pocket pairs often enough to make this well +EV. |
