10NL: AQ standard?
This is about the 5th hand so I'm relatively unknown to the other players.
Is this just standard or is there a better way to extract some value out of this? Re: 10NL: AQ standard?
Thanks. I've just found that alot of my cbet's are folded. The other day I kept getting played back at. My AG was like 5 or so because everyone kept folding the other day and I won like 200bb. And then Monday morning, after working all night, I played and went on to lose 300bb because I stayed too aggressive even after I was beat - going all-in 3 times when I was clearly beat because I wasn't thinking correctly.

Re: 10NL: AQ standard?
Yeah, this is played fine, when you miss you will make the same bet about half of the time and want them to fold and to make this convincing you want to be value betting your made hands as well.
If you weren't the preflop raiser, then you can go for a check-raise, but when you are the preflop raiser, you want to just value bet here everytime. |
