[ QUOTE ]
raise turn and fold preflop to the initial raise let alone reraise [/ QUOTE ] Most of the time I do fold that preflop. This time I originally figured I could push the original raiser off most things. Then with the reraise and call I figure it's eight bucks for a chance at two hundred. When I have position against an opponent who has put his hand in a fairly narrow range, and I have some kind of connectedness I'm going to take that shot. Once he bets the turn I figure it's about 85-90% that he has AA or KK which means I'm afraid of a grand total of nine cards, the five remaining aces or kings plus the sevens and fives. Sure, he could have QQ but that's a slim possibility. I think he probably would have called a turn push but I figured he was more likely to bet the river than call the turn. Anyone think he folds to a river push? Clearly he was suspicious or he wouldn't have checked. |
