Default Re: \"Sickest hand I ever played.... \"

The ones that immediately come to mind are these (from memory). Sorry for not having full HH, but my PT needs fixing.

Favourite Hand won:
Stars Moneymaker Millionaire 1st round. >7000 runners, Top 50 go through to R2. About 59 left and first hand after break I'm dealt 72o in SB. I'm desperately short and need to double up (I'm around 56th or so).
BB has been sitting out since start of break. As it's fold to me I push. He suddenly wakes up and calls with A6. I spike a 2 and double up. I eventually qualify to the next round.

Worse Hand Lost
Paradise Million Freeroll a couple of years ago.
I'm short again and we're still early in the tourney. I'm in BB with K3. All fold to button who calls, SB folds and I check.
Flop AKx. (Can't remember the betting).
Turn K. I push.

Button calls with 99. I'm sure others have seen worse, but I honestly believe this is one of the worse calls I've ever seen.

River 9.

May seem insignificant to most, but this one always seems to stick in my mind.

I'm enjoying this thread. Keep them coming!

some random $22 freezeout on Party like 9-12 months ago

I get KK in MP and raise, button calls, just the 2 of us see the Q33r flop

I bet, he just calls

Turn's a K

I bet, he min-raises, I reraise all in, he calls and I see 33

Of course the river is the K

yeah baby, runner runner quads to beat flopped quads

on the flip side...

final 13 of the Party super like 2 years ago

I was getting real short and woke up with AA in the BB

folded to the button who raised, I reraised all in, he called with KT

flop Jxx

turn Q

river 9

I guess I didn't really want to make the final table of my first super ever grrrrrr

Probably a rivered 5-outer I dropped on Jason Lester in the '06 WSOP ME to knock him out late on day 1. All-in on the turn, my TPTK with AQ vs. his KK. River, Ace. Lol, donkaments.

I knew how to play stud, but I'd never played hold em. the stud game was full at the local B&M. there was a 2/4 hold em seat. i took it. I figured that 3/5ths of your information was coming from the flop, so I thought I couldn't evaluate the quality of my hand until I saw the flop. I also thought pre-flop raises were stupid. How could these players know that their hands were good or bad when they hadn't seen any community cards? they just wanted to gamble. and what fun is it to call? it's much more fun to say "raise."

So I'm dealt 23o. It's raised at least twice. So I raise. It gets capped. I call. I don't remember if I flopped the full house or if I made it on a later street, but I do remember raking in a $100 pot. Of course, not knowing what I was doing, I quickly pissed it away.
