Default zecco

Anyone have any zecco trip reports?

Is there $2500 min what needs to be sitting in your account above and beyond the stocks you have bought, or just the total amount you need to initially fund it with?

I use zecco and am 100% invested with the funds there. I gather the $2500 is total value.

I love Zecco for what I do. With my portfolio size (not much more than 10k), I bought a dozen ETFs cost free. I don't trade that much, but even then the cost saved there is equivalent to a 1% real gain in value.

It is insured. Trading is free. I don't need lots of tools.

It took a while for them to process my application (though I could trade sooner than that - they just held some cash back from your trading sum until the app cleared)

Big thumbs up for me.

the $2500 min is just the initial funding, do some reading in the sites FAQ and in the forums regarding the signup process. The process should be clearer. I also bought a dozen ETFs. You get 10 no-cost trades a day, after that each trade is $3.50. I didn't realize this at the time, so I made 12 purchases for $7, which is still quite a steal.

I think no-cost trades are also very exciting because they eliminate many of the ETF negatives in the index fund v. ETF discussions.
