Turn bluff on TAG on paired board
Not a play I make very often, so I'd like some comments on this hand. Lost HH, so I'll hand type.
Table: 6-max $100NL (.5/1) Opponent: Solid TAG, about 18/12/3 Stacks: Just over 100BB each Dealt to Hero: A[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]3[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] PF: Folds to Hero in CO, raise to $3.5, fold to TAG in BB who calls Flop($7.5): Q[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]9[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]Q[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] TAG checks, Hero checks Turn($7.5): Q[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]9[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]Q[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]4[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] TAG checks, Hero bets $5, TAG raises to $16, Hero re- raises to $42, TAG folds I reasoned that there was no way that TAG was checking the Q or a bigger hand like 99 twice, and was likely just making a play w/something like 88, TT, A9, JT, or just air on my weakness. I also figured he was good enough to fold most of his likely holdings. Of course, I now have the flush draw. My main questions involve the size of my raise (how was it?) and what to do if he shoves (?). Also, what if he just calls (scary), I hit flush, and he shoves? checks? Any other comments are welcome. |

as to your questions. if he shoves: fold? (lol) if he calls and you hit the flush and he still shoves: i call if he checks in the above scenario: shove |

Try not to show results in the future. But yes your reads are spot on NH.
