Multiple OS on a computer?
If I want ti install another copy of windows on my second hard drive are there any pitfalls I should think about before trying it?

Re: Multiple OS on a computer?
There are probably better solutions to whatever your situation is than to install multiple copies of the same OS on the same computer, but other than potential activation issues if you use the same license key, it should work fine.
I'm not sure if you are allowed to use the same license key. It's pretty apparent you can only use one at a time, so it may fall into that "gray, but probably okay" area. edit: since it'd be on the same hardware, you prolly won't have any activation issues. If you do, a simple phone call to MS saying you're reformatting your computer should get you a new key. |

Re: Multiple OS on a computer?
why would you want to do this exactly? you could just make 2 users with different settings? seems like a waste of HD space

Re: Multiple OS on a computer?
VMWARE can run an operating system inside an operating system. Good for linux inside windows or viceversa.

Re: Multiple OS on a computer?
If you want to though, you can. Partition your HD first!
