From D.C. that's nowhere near a good enough reason. From NYC, it's enough.

I'm in NYC and I've gone to Foxwoods once. The 4-8 game might have been the easiest game I've played with the exception of one or two 2-4 games I played. The dealers were a bit worse but the game conditions easily made up for the fewer number of hands played.

I also found that it was cheaper to stay there on a weekend then it was in AC and it was a pretty hotel nice room.

That being said I probably won't go back unless its for a long weekend and I want something different than AC. I found it a lot harder to get to (since I don't have a car) and that wasn't worth it.
