Situational play
Stars $50 FO
This was a very odd situation this late, as BB here is dead. This is the 3rd (yes 3rd) player we've had at this table in "sitting out" mode for an extended period of time. MP2 is a very good, thinking player, I've been behind him ~90 hands, I've only shown down big hands, but did bet MP2 out of a big pot ~5 orbits earlier and RR him ~3 orbits ago on my button. While we had the other 2 players sitting out, MP2 pounded their blinds from anywhere. I know his raise is coming. Any 2? If so, AI or 3bet w 23BB's? Re: Situational play
If we know MP2 has been raising light I think this is a good aggressive move. I dont want to say he's opening any two here, but with the dead bb its gotta be wide. Given your history though, he may "know that you know" and call you light. How big is the gap between what he's opening with and calling your push with?

Re: Situational play
I really think he'd do this with any two, but 23 BB's is a difficult stack to manage, I don't like pushing 23bb's, 3bet gets 19 bb's in if he calls, which commits me to push 14bb's behind a check on any flop without an A or K. Basically, what I find difficult here is this perfect resteal opportunity, with an odd stack. 15 bb's or so this is an auto push.

Re: Situational play
i think based on previous circumstances you have to fold. he will call VERY light here imo.
I agree with it being an odd stack size. |
