Beat?? vs. 37/14 i am rearly consider I am beat here.. I am beting flop with 2/3 PSB bcoz of FD and 37/14 can heve str8draw too and I am willing to go broke with my hand if he raises my turnbet.. But as played (not beting flop) I probably call him down too.. I never fold that vs. him.

did he have A3?

def. go for pot control here, don't want to get it ai

i think it's well played... i'd think about the river, ugh... but well played

[/ QUOTE ]

How do you propose controling the pot? After the initial bet on the turn villain is in control of the pot, you could just check the turn but after a flop check around this is likely to keep the pot very small, and with no indication of strength from your opponents you want to start building the pot, personaly if I was in that hand I'd welcome every bet villain made with open arms.

did you graduate from highschool or its equivelant in aother country?>?

are u still at the bus stop?

btw i meant ati DID control the pot (he didn't 3 bet the turn)

[/ QUOTE ]

Ah, I thought you meant he should check the turn, in that case I agree fully, he played it right.

Actually 37/14 makes a hand like A3 more likely.

But the 6 aggression factor means essentially you're never ever ever folding a set here. Once Villain shows agression I don't think going to calldown mode is so bad, though, unless you know specifically that she often raises the turn with something like 33 here.

I really don't see how you can find a fold here ever. i am felting this so quickly. What about something like QQ? i know he took a horrible line for it but its definitley possible.

*Grunching*

Raise PF, lead river.

Take a break from poker if you're really thinking about finding a fold here.

Please, please let's not devolve into another limp vs. raise pre with pockets thread.

OP, search the archives. They abound with this type discussion.

I am stunned at the responses this thread has gotten. Urb, bad beat, raise pre, that's all! Now keep killing the games!
